Phil joined Primus in 2001. His investment experience spans the healthcare, healthcare information technology, human capital management, software, and business services industry sectors. Phil is currently a Director of BizLibrary, Cayuse, EnableComp, LLC, Harmony Healthcare IT, Hayes Management Consulting, Healthcare Bluebook, Lightbeam Health Solutions, MEDHOST, Payspan, SkillSurvey, and Trilliant Health.

His historical investments include AOD Software (acquired by MatrixCare), Emmi Solutions (acquired by Wolters Kluwer, AEX:WKL), Encore Legal Solutions (acquired by Epiq Systems), ExactCare Pharmacy (acquired by Nautic Partners), Forte (acquired by Advarra Inc.), PathGroup (acquired by The Pritzker Group), Passport Health Communications (acquired by Experian), SterilMed (acquired by Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a Johnson & Johnson company), Universal Tax Systems (acquired by CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, AEX:WKL), and Vendormate (acquired by Global Healthcare Exchange).

Prior to Primus, Phil served in various roles at McKinsey & Company and The Boston Consulting Group. He earned a BA summa cum laude in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University and a JD from Yale Law School.
